Planned initially as a mixed-use, life-sciences and medical community, the area of Southeast Orlando is now a haven for beautiful housing subdivisions, golf communities, and an array of shopping, recreation and dining options that rival those of its densely packed neighbors throughout Orlando. “Lake Nona Medical City”, as it is often called, is home to the University of Central Florida College of Medicine (and planned Colleges of Nursing and Dental Medicine), the Orlando VA Medical Center, Nemours Children’s Hospital and various other biomedical research and education centers.

Lake Nona Town Center
The Lake Nona Town Center is the shopping & entertainment hub in the area. There’s plenty to do & see here – restaurants, boutiques, public art and event venues. Two hotels – a Marriott Residence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott – are located within the center, making it a convenient place for friends & family from out of town to stay.
Nona Adventure Park
The Nona Adventure Park is the ultimate outdoor adventure for all ages! It’s a water-based entertainment center with an inflatable aqua park/obstacle course, Nona Wake cable park, and 60’ climbing tower/ropes course/rock walls.
Boxi Park
